We are pleased to announce the launch of the new look web design for Dartmoor National Park Authority.
The purposes of the Dartmoor National Park Authority are to conserve and enhance the natural beauty, wildlife and cultural heritage of the National Park; and to promote opportunities for the understanding and enjoyment of the area’s special qualities by the public. The Authority also has a duty to seek to foster the economic and social well-being of local communities.
The challenge of the new website was to ensure the wide range of visitors are all given equal consideration and that all areas of the website are easily accessible. In addition to this our aim was to bring the overall design and technology of the site up to speed, whilst ensuring full accessibility guidelines are adhered to.
The end result is a clean and fresh looking website, which incorporates elements of new technology such as Video streaming but crucially provides easy access to a wide range of public information.
Ali Bright, Head of ICT at DNPA commented ‘Thanks again for all the hard work pulse8 have put into the project for us, it really does look great’.
