Vanilla Splits are based in West Sussex, a perfect location when it comes to renting classic VW camper vans. Vanilla Splits approached pulse8 due to our expertise not only in booking systems, but specifically in VW camper van hire. The brief was simple, to build an easy to use booking system to facilitate the automated booking of one or more vans and to make it fit within the existing site design.

The original Vanilla Splits web site was designed and built by I Love Dust, based in Southsea and London. pulse8 worked closely with ILD to ensure the booking system continued the visually rich and unique environment they had created for the client.

The finished result not only looks stunning, it offers the client plenty of flexibility around their booking periods and custom bookings. The system manages all bookings with automated reminders regarding payment dates, as well as flagging all incoming and outgoing vehicles on a weekly basis and reminders of extras booked per van. pulse8 also built in the facility to deal with bookings down to a day by day timeframe ready for an exciting new project in 2010! It is even possible to buy rental gift vouchers to give that special person!
