pulse8 is pleased to announce the successful integration of a new hosting infrastructure. The new set-up has improved reliability for all of
our clients and has allowed the introduction of a control panel for those clients who wish to manage their own hosting accounts.
The control panel can be used to manage e-mail accounts, including setting spam levels and choosing your virus scanning settings, and can also be used for managing your hosting account.
For those clients operating e-mail accounts on the new server, we have included the latest webmail facility, allowing clients to access their mails from any location so long as they know their e-mail address and password.
It includes all the normal functions, such as an address book (into which you can import your old addresses) and a calendar, plus filter settings for e-mail address white lists and black lists.
Environmentally, our new servers are eco friendly, with trees being planted in Holyland Wood, Pembroke, to offset any carbon emissions created by the running of the servers. This way you know that all the time that your website is being viewed you are at least acting responsibly by offsetting carbon emissions created due to the operation of the servers.
